Hello & welcome to the board!
What kind of Dr did you see? If its a primary you need to ask for a referal to see a Rhumetologist...
I think your symptoms are from low thyroid. It wouldn't hurt to see a Endocrynologist since they specialize in it.
The symptoms you are experiencing is likely low Thyroid. I'm hypothyroid also & take Armour.
Did your Dr run many tests? It's a really long process to rule everything out then look t your symptoms & tender points.
I hate that you may have been misdiagnosed then put on these meds... If you can go without them then you should... But you'd need to be weined off with your doctors help... I tried med free but laid on the couch not moving cause the pain was so bad.
I went 11 yrs trying to figure out what was going on. I didn't have the pain though that I do now. My body felt heavy and slightly sore & I am always tired. But pain set in & when I was told I had fibro it was wonderful to put a name to it & have a dr actually listen to me. But I didn't think I had the tender points,he said I had 11 at the time. I was in denial at first then had my first actual flare up. I listened then... Over the last 2 yrs the pain just keeps getting worst. All those years fatigued I could still run around all day long. Now I can't. The fatigue & pain holds me back. I over do it & really pay... I over did it exercising. Been about 2 weeks & still haven't recovered...
Anyhow, you could be in the beginning phase of fibro or it could be your thyroid which is easily treated. But this is for a Rumetologist & Endocrynologist to decide... I just hope you will get in to see them. There is no need to suffer if you don't have to... I really hope it's your thyroid & not fibro...
Hope it helps
