This is really random and it only started up after my Fibro got bad, or so I am told by my fiance (hee hee). Sometimes when we are just hanging out and he's stroking my skin he says he can feel like...not quite electrical impulses, but like he can feel the neurons firing. The tonight he was stroking my hair to help me sleep (didn't work) and when he touched my ear he said he could feel it and I could kind of hear it. I don't feel the sensation when he does, so it freaked me out when I heard it. Has anyone else had this? It freaked me out! I felt fine, other than my ear hurting a little after, but nothing else was going on. I washed my ear (testing to see if it would fix it) and it stopped making the noise/sensation. I know it's not anything dangerous but I was just wondering if this was a fibro thing or just my body being screwy.
Thanks guys!
(((hugs)))

HI Cerene - I just thought I'd reply and let you know that no I don't..........
It's very frustrating that a lot of people view but don't post - the % of people that respond are very small - but are a very active and supportive group. It's probably that they don't have this either - it maybe that you're unique
Hi, I do not know if it's the same thing but sometimes when I touch people they jump and say that they have gotten a small electrical shock. I can feel it myself. It does not happen very often.
I think people view, just don't know what to say...
I've never had this but Fibro is a crazy disorder & we'll probly never fully understand it...
But our bodies are full of electrical impulses so maybe yours are alittle more active...
WoodsWalker: Ha ha, there is nothing wrong with being crazy. All the best people are! That might be it, I have a tendency to fall asleep with my heating pad and electric blanket on (bad, I know), so I get rather dry and we haven't had a lot of moisture since all the snow melted.
Tori: I think it happens more when I'm in more pain than normal, so that could be it. I know my nerves go into hyper drive when I'm in pain... Hopefully one day we'll have a better understanding of it anyways.
Agenda: Oh yeah! We totally are :P
