Hi fellow fibro sufferers
I was dx'd with fibro in 1993 after a hysterectomy. I believe it was the surgery that brought on fibro. I have maintained all these years...not taking any pain meds to speak of....just an occasional soma when things get really bad. I just recently had a total hip replacement....7 weeks post op and OMG....... I am in so much pain. I am healthy....exercise(not religiously!) and have a pretty healthy diet. I decided early on that I was going to fight this monster called fibro, and was fairly successful; however I am in so much pain after this last surgery. I feel like my entire body has been dipped in a bucket of pain. Sorry...Im venting...just so frustrated. Has anyone had luck with cymbalta in relieving fibro pain? Weight gain or loss? What are your worst side effects? I appreciate any feedback on this . It is so hard to fight such intense pain...thx
