Hi everyone,
I take tramadol when pain is unbearable. Do my best not to take it. But we've been putting in a garden plus going to have a yard sale starting tomorrow. Been trying to get rid of whatever I can, tired of clutter.
Anyhow, I've been taking tramadol daily for a week. But I'm so sore & wont leave the couch & get stuff done if I don't... But I don't want my body to get "used to it" or addicted.
Then I read that people usually lose weight taking it. But some have also gained on it. I just know I can't afford to gain more weight...
Have you gained or loss on it?
hi tori,
i lost on it. don't take it anymore. it was a bedtime med for me. work those muscles girl, they will love you for it in the long run. the stronger you are the harder it is for fibro to run your life. brava on the garden girl!! i love kicking my fanny in the gardens and falling on my face after thinking how good it's all going to taste. giggle.
hugs for healing and peace,
blue
I take it and have neither lost weight (bummer) or gained. I take it daily at night and when I want to get things done. Tori, I take it on an off and on basis sometimes for 2 or 3 weeks straight depending on how I feel and have had no issues.
I also worked my garden for about 7 hours on monday for the first time in 3 years. Boy what a freakin' mess that was, but it felt SO GOOD to get my hands in the soil again. Took my tramadol all day (took a double at one point) and kept on working and soon as I was done took a muscle relaxer because I could feel the spasm just waiting to get me.
Still have a little to go as far as cleaning it up to the area I want to keep. Then I'll move a few things and down size the garden to a size that can be more manageable for me to work on. cutting it down considerably.
It just got so overwhelming between my back and fibro that I just could not get in there and do what was really needed the past few years. And my husband had absolutely no clue as to what to do in the garden and only pulled out the wild grasses growing.
OH, when you're done with the yard sale Tori, you can come here and throw one
You guys are great! Just feels so good to see what you all had to say, so I'm smiling
Yard sale went great! Got rained out Sunday but enjoyed spending time with family & friends that helped. Then made $ & got rid of stuff. My youngest loved spending each day in the shop & playing outside. I'm worn out. Had a heck I a time getting moving this morning & hubby was being a butt head trying to get me back down the the shop to pack stuff up. Tramadol got me moving finally but still dragged all day. It's all catching up with me... Luckily 2 of my friends showed up to help so made it go sooo much quicker! Great to have true friends isn't it!
Tomorrow I rest if hubby likes it or not...
We have renters not paying rent & breaking windows, doors, ect. Trying to evict them. We sold a truck so that's going to cover this months overdraft & next months mortgage payment on the place! I have a flipper interested in buying the place. Won't make much $ but I can be done & won't have the stress from renters anymore hopefully it works out!
Sorry, been off the board so long busy so had to tell you guys what's going on!
Glad to see you guys are doing well! Hope the gardens do the best ever this year!!!
I have been off and on Tramadol for years only take it when I need it . Glad you have been having fun in the garden, my husband built raised bed for me so I can plant easyier haven't put my plants in yet got a frost last night so I am going to wait till this weekend.
That's wonderful on the raised bed! I bet it is sooo much easier!
We have a large garden 60x60, no raised bed & boy does it hurt planting...
We still have allot to do but had a yard sale for a few days & now it's raining...
