burning pain, and chest wall pain

I have been managing but have had lots of physical work lately. I am happy that my body allowed me to do it when I had to, but, today is brutal. My arms and shoulders just burn. My back aches, and every joint, wrists, hands and ankles too. I now have chest wall pain. I have been diagnosed with costochondritis, but I noticed it when my bra hit a spot that is just so tender. First it freaked me out, but I remembered what it was. My whole body is just aching. I guess tylenol pm will be my friend tonight.

Thanks for listening.

And also remember not to wear a bra - it really helps with cosotchondritis xxx

Naughty girl. It feels good to be bad. hard to stop, something about physical jobs makes us want to keep going. Hope ou feel better soon. Do hot baths do anything for that? or do you have voltaren gel or it's equivalent, the Flector patch? Actually I like the patch better since it is 12 hour extended release anti- inflammatory. Works better than oral anti inflams.

Re: burning pain, and chest wall pain

I took tylenol pm last night and it did help me sleep, but woke up with a wicked back problem With the patch, is there one that we can slip into that covers the whole body???? Just kidding. I have been taking baths as well, which is good temporarily, but doesnt last. This too, will pass. I am lucky I was able to work. That is a good thing.

Re: burning pain, and chest wall pain

Anything overly physical will send your costo into a tailspin. I found the less twisting and heavy lifting I do helps keep the costo pain to a minimum. Ice around your spine just below the bra line just till your skin goes numb, that eases the costo for some short term relief for me. My PT taught me that little trick. I lay back onto one of the thin blue freezer things. Hard spot to reach alone.

Re: burning pain, and chest wall pain

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. Yeah, it's still not good, but I have to learn to deal. I also have sciatica in my back and it's making my leg really hurt. All the way down to the foot. Too much sitting at this job, I just can't win. Got to find the right balance.

To tmrots
I never knew what that was on the left side of my chest, I don't think i've asked a Dr. About in in more than 2 decades cause everything else started happening but the burning and pain and by the bra. Wow learn something today! Do u have that bone or rib that sticks out towards the bottom off the side of your chest?
