Does fibro cause bruising? Several weeks ago my knee felt swollen and I think I had a bit of fluid build up. But since the swelling is gone but my knee has light black and blue marks around it, especially were fibro tender points are. I have been diagnosed with fibro and possible lupus. Just wondered about the knee. Also the joints on that knee really hurt. Thanks
Good question. I have always bruises easily since I was very little and always have bruises. I am not anemic. Never thought about it being related to fibro though but who knows. May be possible
Sure feels like it some days, even a small amount of pressure on muscles.
I never see anything on the surface, but I sure feel it even days after I get poked with something, bump into something (that happens a lot with vertigo), etc.
This of course makes it hard to prove you have something wrong with you, when there is no outside evidence.
Bruising can definitely be related to Fibromyalgia. I bruise very easily as does my aunt who also suffers from FM. Everyone with FM is different but for me bruising is definitely a part of it.
