I take 400 mg of Tegretol 2x per day. I have not had any major side effects other than weight gain. I am bipolar and also take Abilify and Kolinpin. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalza four years ago. Now I have no pain from that. Has anyone else notice rapid weight gain from Teretol?

sorry no one has answered. never heard of this one so i am useless to you there. just wanted to say hello and welcome you. hopefully someone here will be familiar with this med and be of more help to you. sorry it made you gain weight. so many of the meds the doc's think will help us make us gain weight.
have you spoken to your doctor about this? is there an alternative med you can opt to try?
