hey people, long time... my computer crashed too blue lady!
meanwhile i started antibiotics and after a week i must say that my pain is almost gone.
was dxed in Feb '12 with fibro.. but after listening to you all i went to a lyme site and bingo. they were really helpful.
june july 2011 1st dr i had 15 years didn't know
2nd dr said it was my hep c. begged for lyme test negative simple antibody test sent me to dr #3
3rd said it was my hiv. go back to #2
4th in dec really tried to figure it out asked in april of 2012 if it is lyme. i was sure by then.
no he said.
retested by #4 in May 2012 western blott negative you don't have lyme.
5th lyme md said IDK but start antibiotics and we will do pcr dna tests..
still waiting for the tests but hey i feel great
Antibiotics do not help hep C hiv or fibro..
an excruciating painfulll and tired and mind messed up year and side effects from drugs i didn't need, cymbalta lyrica..
i needed 6$ of antibiotics, not hundreds for the others.!
i live in a very bad lyme zone hike fish garden for 20 yers. and i kept telling them that.
so it got so bad it was affecting my brain with pain seizures and they still didn't suggest or give antibiotics..
do all you can to make sure it is not lyme because the Dr's always call it muscle/ sketal pain and every joint hurt and then back and neck and they were Wrong.
i have a bacteria that i probably had a long time for it to get this bad.
all the years i complained to Dr #1 and he never thought of a lyme test.
the more time goes by the less accurate the test is
that is why one needs a pcr dna..
i will keep you updated when my tests come back. if they are negative next test is spinal tap.
some people have had up to 6 Lyme tests and pain until it finally showed up!
so if you have never been tested for lyme please do so. asap.
the fibro symptoms didn't add up for me and i kept sewrching for a cure... until i saw others with lyme and the seizure pain. then i went
"see.. i knew it back in October!
Dr.'s are "practicing" medicine.. be your own advocate and find answers.
i wonder how many people on this board actually have Lyme?

ABX not for virus fibro flue colds..
ABX makes me feel good
ABX is killing the spirochetes that the tick left behind a bacteria.
i have a terrible bug in my body and may be on antibiotic for months. because no dr would listen to me..
asking for ABX was like asking for pain meds...they are bad for you...you don't need them..
bull**** i feel like am getting my life back.

sorry your computer crashed. bravo for you, you proactive girl you! giggle. we don't have many ticks where i live and i have never been sucked on by one.
i really hope you have found your answer and it's not fibro, YIPEE! later when my ole joints warm up i shall do a cartwheel for you.

they didn't do the per/dna tests for Lyme ! I am certain i asked for that test...somehow the lab slip didn't specify ...now i have to go back on monday and have the blood draw again and wait 2 weeks!
mean while i have less pain and fatigue being on antibiotics...hummmm?
hey, you're supposed to correct me when i goof up. sorry dude. so glad you are feeling better. it's helping something. bummer the test slip was not properly filled out. at least it's only 2 weeks.
