Always a comfort...

Hi my fibro friends! It is always a comfort and almost like going home when I get back to the boards. It seems I haven't been here for so long, even though I have been peeking in once in a while.
I just want to say Hi to my 'old' friends here and welcome to all the 'new' friends to the board.
While cleaning out a desk drawer I found some good fibro info and as soon as I have a chance to dissect it all, I will post about it. I just have to have the time to concentrate......giggle....I know fibro fog limits that process.
My little snot nose germ factory grandchildren that I love more than my life, have given me a more serious snot nose and infection, so I have been forced to slow down a bit. I am grateful, it has given me a chance to check in and realize how much I miss the boards.

Peace and Pain free days to everyone,
Glojer

Re: Always a comfort......

Hi Blue, we are having a girl. The first granddaughter, we have three grandsons right now. She will have a pink and green room. Have already had two baby showers so the room looks pretty good, and I have never seen my daughter look so beautiful. Miracleman is dancing and singing, I'm sure of it. We couldn't hear that voice here on earth, but I bet it is a beautiful one now. And of course little PJ is going to be wearing Cardinals red. Her dad I think is a Giants fan, but he is in Cardinal land so he has to just live with it.
Braveman is still hanging in there. He must be doing ok, because he still can aggravate me to no end....giggle. And as close as I came to losing him, I happy about it. I do warn him about the steps all the time though.

Re: Always a comfort......

Congrats!!! If it were not for my newset Grandaughter that happens to live with me along with her Mom I don't think I could deal with this Fibro. It's such a joy to see thier first smiles and giggles and just watch these little angels sleep. Between my Husband of 13 yrs and myself we have 12 grandchildren ranging in age from 18 to 3 months 3 of which i had the joy of cutting the cord after delivery. Ahhhh....they are all so wonderful!

Low pain all,

Re: Always a comfort......

Hi again everyone, It makes me feel so good you all remember and care. My sinus was getting better and then it went way the other way a couple days ago. Emailed my soon to be former doc....giggle. I was not impressed when he took over for our last PCP who moved. I just thought I don't usually see the PCP more than twice a year. If I have any problems I will see a specialist. Anyway when I emailed him that things were getting worse, he had his asst. email back that I must have a virus instead of a bacteria and it would take 2-3wks to clear up and I should rest, drink plenty of fluids and put warm compress's on my face for the sinus issue. When I told him my ears were hurting and full of fluid again, he had me get meclizine which is a travel sickness pill to help with the dizziness. What a doofus!
Anyway you all make me feel better just by greeting me and telling me your glad I'm back. These boards have always been a place of refuge for all of us. Thank you all.

Glojer
