Stinging sensation after bimalleolar fracture surgery

I broke my ankle June 4 ,had surgery June 6 , I was put in an air cast boot , two weeks later staples came out ,and foot back in boot . I was told I could put 50% weight on foot. but now I get this stinging sensation on the inside of ankle where my two screws were put in . Can anyone tell me if this is normal ? Also my scar on the inside has not completely healed , there's no blood , but a little clear fluid .
