I have had plantar fascitis in my left foot for a little over a year. I've had two injections in my heel that have worked for about 6 mos each. After surgery for mortons neuroma on my right foot this past april the heel starter bothering me some.
A week ago while walking up the basement steps my toes slipped down and caused a horrible pain in my left heel like someting had popped in my heel.
I could still move my foot so I guessed nothing was broken and returned to work monday morning. The pain was awful and very hard to stand all day. I went to an immediate care center who put my foot in an ortipedic shoe and told me to see a specialist.
I couldnt get in to my podiotrist until the next week so I made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. He told me that I had ruptured my Plantar Fascia that the injections had probably weakened it, and put my foot in an aircast for 3wks. with the only instructions being we'll see how it is when you come back. Has anyone had any experiance with this? as you can see I've had alot of foot things going on and am getting kinda discouraged. Thanks
