3 months post-op Chrisman Snook

Hello everyone,

I just have some questions regarding rehab as it relates to the Chrisman Snook lateral ankle reconstruction surgery. I had split my peroneal tendon in two (length wise) and tore the ATFL as well for the 3rd time. On 8/3 I had the surgery and it took about 2 months for the swelling to go down and now I'm experiencing pain(?) where the OS used the split part of the peroneal tendon for the Chrisman Snook procedure. Should I still be having discomfort in this area? Is it just my body's way of compensating for the missing part of the tendon since it's no longer a complete peroneal tendon?

I had mine done back in, wow February and I am still tender along the tendon.. It's a long recovery. Rehab should help a lot too.

Yup... I was tender all over for quite a while. My biggest problem was cramping in the peroneal muscle, though. I had the Evans procedure, which is similar, just a different routing pattern for the tendon.
