Basically, my bunions are moderate and my second toe slightly ovelaps my big toe on one foot. Its not that slippers are not wide enough - I just feel they are cumbersome. Being young, I have the issue that I am at collage and living with friends and seeing lads and don't want my ugly feet to be a talking point. But my bunions are sensitive. They have a dull ache when I bump them and I have been unlucky in that I am over 6ft and have poor co-ordintion and often trip and stumble etc etc. Woking with children, my bunions are often stood on and so seem permently brused. I guess its as much me being sensitive about hurting my feet as it is about my feet being sensitive themselves. Why was I born with this problem???? Surgey is an option and I have explored the possibilities. Like I say - its hardly life threatning and seems more of a psychological thing for me to have to overcome. Thoughts?
