Hard bump on big toe

Hello there!

I am just looking for a little insight on what may be wrong with my toe...

There is a hard bump on my right big toe. It's not on the side of my toe... but more like right under (to the side) of the bottom left corner of my toe nail. Maybe a little smaller than the size of a dime. I noticed it last week but didn't think anything of it because it didn't really hurt... but last night it because very painful all the sudden. It really hurts to bend my toe and has now for the past day... any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
