The podiatrist says that my little toe is deformed and that's why I have skin build up on the bottom of my toe from pressure. I can't see any deformity to my toe but can see layers of skin that is on the bottom, some of it looks dry, and it hurts to step on. I guess that part has more pressure from the way I'm walking on it. It's making me walk with a limp and started about the same time I got Plantar Facitis. The podiatrist cut off alot of the extra skin which hurt alot but with less excess skin I can walk better. But it does grow back. The podiatrist also gave me this thing to wear over the toe and the one next to it that has a small padding to supposedly take the pressure off the toe. Does anybody have this problem? If so, does it goes away.
