scar tissue on toes
In 2005 I had a bunionectomy and hammertoe operated on. It went fine but after a month or so the big toe started pulling toward the 2nd toe and became stiff, even though I was doing the recommended exercises. The Dr. said that scar tissue had developed and the only thing to do is do the operation over or live with it. I chose the later because I figured if scar tissue developed once, it could do it again. Now, all the toes, except the little toe, are like they have been sewn together. I can't make them move. I have some sharp pains occasionally and shoes are a problem so I am now wondering if I should have had, or should have now, the operation to fix this problem.
