Question Is this connected to bunion & Neuroma surgery?

Yesterday evening I noticed that the ankle of the same foot I had the surgery on August 15, is swollen. Actually right in back of the ankle bone it's very sore, and also toward the outside of the foot it's sore as well. I also had swelling on the top of foot by ankle. Can this be related to the surgery at all?
The last couple of days I haven't felt really well. Some pain in my upper back on left side, lack of appetite, and just feeling icky. Any ideas?

Precious,
I don't know if you've been non-weight bearing or not, but I was mobile and ended up really hurting my ankle from the way I was walking sideways on my foot for 2 months. It's taken more therapy than my foot, but is slowly healing. Maybe your pain is just this type of collateral damage, and will get better as you strengthen the whole area. (My surgery was in Feb., and it's just starting to get noticeably better now)

Re: Is this connected to bunion & Neuroma surgery?

Wow! You had yours in February. I guess I do have a ways to go. I did watch myself walk today, and I think your right. I do turn to the side of my foot, so now I'm trying to walk on the toe very slowly instead of on the side.
Thanks.
