Foot Scar Tissue

Is there a product that can be used to get rid of deep scar tissue on a foot? Anyone know how to get rid of deep scar tissue on a foot?

Re: Foot Scar Tissue

All I've really heard about as an option is massage, and that it needs to be done during the healing process - not sure if it works well a year or two out... For surface scars, there's Mederma and silicone scar pads, but they don't work on the deeper lumps.

i wish i knew that answer. i had hardware removal last month and the dr removed some scar tissue from the 2nd toe which was operated on last year for hammertoe. it only helped a little. the more surgery the more scar tissue. i have so much from toe fusion. i still massage it everyday, but i guess it will always be there.

Re: Foot Scar Tissue

That's what I was afraid of. I had 3-operations within a 10-month period in the exact same location on the bottom of my foot. I trim the outer really hard part about every 2-weeks. So wish there was some way to get rid of it. Thanks for your reply.
