Question Big Toe Deformity - Not hammer toe, not bunion

Hello all!!!

I have always had the most difficult time finding any information relating to the toe deformity that I have.

I am a female, 5'2", 28 years old, in good health. No arthritis or bone disease.
Since I was born, I've had this toe deformity.

My big toe. The last bone (the tip where the toenail is) curls UPWARD. It curls back like to top of an elf shoe. (If that makes sense).
My right big toe is worse than my left big toe.

You can barely see a sliver of my nail on my right big toe... when you look at it, straight down from above, you see mostly skin, like the top of the toe. and a little sliver of toenail b/c it's curved.

What is this called??

On my x-ray it showed the last little bone at the tip (triangle shape) curled upward (pointing towards my ankle if you can envision).

Any info on what this is and what it's from would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have not found any images online to match what I have or any information either...

I'm sorry I can't offer any insight but there are so many people on this site hopefully someone will be able to help.
Do your toes hurt due to this?
