So I met with my new surgeon for the 2nd time friday and sadly I had a setback again. After 4 weeks in a CAM walker, they discovered a new crack in the fibula
I am now in the CAM for 6 more weeks also have to use a bone stimulator 20 min a day and I had a cortisone shot minus novicane (allergy) and it seems to have helped a little.
Then after I got home and was resting the left ankle for awhile, I got up and heard massive popping in the right ankle and fell. I went right back to the surgeon's office and found out its a bad sprain but there was a healing hairline fracture of what was my "good foot". I really need some encouragement now, I am in pain and frustrated that i keep breaking my ankles and im 26!
I am meeting my PCP friday to do bloodwork and schedule a bone density test. so scared. Any advice would be welcome on how to get through this next obstacle.
