repeat foot surgery

I had surgery on both my feet years ago because my big toes were crooked. the podiatrist at the time said that this would prevent bunions. i never thought my surgery was successful as my toes still lean in and i'm thinking of having a second surgery. i hear that they nwill now put rods in the toes to keep them straight. i would like some feedback if anyone as any

Re: repeat foot surgery

I don't know if this helps but I had bunionectomies Jan. last year and both my big toes still point in and also tip inward as well. I'm beginning to believe in multiple opinions before you do surgery, and especially second surgery.

Re: repeat foot surgery

See a certified foot and ankle ortho - not a podiatrist.
