4 yr. old with Planter's wart
My grandson just turned four and I had noticed a wart on the ball of his foot. I figured that it was a planter's wart (niece's had them NUMEROUS times) and tried to get my son to have it taken care of during the summer. He complains about not being able to walk, takes his shoes off a lot and doesn't want you touching it. Today he was finally taken to the doctor and she advised doing nothing that they would eventually go away. I've read that sometimes this does happen but MANY times it doesn't. When my nieces had their removed they were told that they put out seeds and they just continue multiplying and going deeper. The doctor did suggest putting corn pads on them.
I've read about duct tape as well as putting nail polish on the warts to deprive them of air. Works for some, not for others.
Has anyone had experience with children having this problem and what did you do. He just really doesn't want ANYTHING or ANYONE touching it. HELP!!!!
