Re: Just had MRI on ankle after having pain for one year
I had my PTT repaired with a tear and scar tissue that kept it from moving. I also had a bunch of other stuff done. If I only had PTT repair my dr. would have had me walking in a boot at 2 weeks post op. But, I had a microfracture done and so I was 6 weeks NWB and then I'm in a boot until the 10 week mark.
The pain from surgery was nothing. The pain in PT is a bit more. I'm not yet walking so I can't say yet how the long term recovery is.
