Calcaneus broken in 3 pieces

I have read most of the post on this site and found alot of answers. Here is my story and question. I fell off a ladder from 10 feet at work on 03/17/10went to ER. for 1 day. I was sent home with possible surgery I had surgery on 4/02/2010. went threw most everyone else has but the only thing I have not seen is. I have about a 3 inch by 3 inch spot on top of my foot that has no feeling completely numb and has an itch but when i scratch it I can not feel my self scratching really sucks and driving me nuts. I am non weightbearing still I use crutches about 80% of the time and wheelchair on long trips. Has anyone else experience this numbness themselves?

Re: Calcaneus broken in 3 pieces

Your going to have alot of weird feeling for next few months. Feeling takes awhile to come back. Also sometimes will get sensation as maybe it comes back. I had big patch of black skin, on bottom, took couple months to come off.
