"hi - if you have not injured your ankle or foot then it could be related to diabetes. If your doctor is not resolving the problem for you , see another one or go to hospital. I would."
So would I.
If you've had this since April and are a diabetic, I would defintely be seeing another doctor.
X-rays can be important for what they DON'T show, mostly fractures.
Stress fractures can happen WITHOUT injury or trauma.
Really? It just seems like the ankle swelling happened overnight.I was walking fine one day, went to sleep, and woke up hobbling.I do remember when I was doing some mild foot exercises, stretching, rotating,I do recall feeling a crunching/moving feeling in my foot and ankle.
My problem from going to the hospital is I don't have insurance,am unemployed, and hoping they won't keep me there.
