Lisfranc Physical Therapy Help Needed

I have spent a week trying to get physical therapy after my lisfranc surgery, but I am always told they don't take my insurance. So I am looking for your help. I am 4 weeks post op and 2 weeks until weight bearing.

Please don't reply if you are going to tell me to contact someone (like the replies below) as I have exhausted my resources. If you could post your physical therapy routine, I would so appreciate it!!!

Re: Lisfranc Physical Therapy Help Needed

Call your insurance company or visit their website to get a list of physical therapists who take your insurance, and ask your surgeon's office if any are recommended.

Re: Lisfranc Physical Therapy Help Needed

Thanks, but I have exhausted those resources already and am looking for help here. If anyone can help out by posting their physical therapy routine, that would be great.

Re: Lisfranc Physical Therapy Help Needed

Could you call your insurance company to find out which pt in your area accepts your insurance? If there are no providers in your area, your insurance company has to make an exception and allow to to use a different provider in your area. I would be very cautious about using someone elses pt routine. It is important for the pt to evaluate YOUR foot and design a program that is appropriate for you

Re: Lisfranc Physical Therapy Help Needed

You need and deserve real PT. Call them and don't give up until you have the name and number of at least a couple facilities in your area.

If that doesn't work, ask your surgeon for a list of safe exercises.
