Welcome to the "other" side! Sounds like things went fairly well. Sorry you were in so much pain. I think I took 2 7.5/325 percocets every 4 hours for the first 3 days and then I took 2-3 total per day after that for a while. I can't believe they already moved your foot around! Wow! Ouch! Glad there wasn't a tear! I, too, was in a half cast with ace wraps (really a cast that was just cut on the sides so we could expand it if we needed to for swelling. I was in that for 6 days and THEN I moved into a full cast. So you may still get one. I only had the Brostrom or ATFL repair the first time and I still had a cast. I had the Brostrom and peroneal tendon tear repair, retinaculum repair and fibular groove deepening this time and was 6 wks NWB in a cast and then boot for 2-3 weeks. Glad you got to get out and get some fresh air and your family came to help! Keep us up to date on your progress!
