Cast off 6 weeks PTTD

Well got my cast off today. Hurray! Im now in a boot but still not weight bearing. Doc has me writing the alphabet with my foot 3-4 times a day. Therapy and next doc appt in 4 weeks. Best news ever...I dont have to sleep with the boot on. Ankle feels good. I am feeling some tingling when pushed on on bottom of my foot wher the pads are under your toes. They did not seem concerned. I have a numb spot from a previous acl surgery so im thinking it is common. What a great day!

Congratulations - it is a milestone. I had to do the alphabet when I was at your stage. I can remember how wonderful it felt to have your foot be free!
