My (so called) health problem came to light about a week ago. I feel my both feet and hands burning sensation. It gives some relief when I walk inside the house. I have not seen a doc yet. Doing some reading in the Internet on this health issue. I would be pleased to hear from others who are experiencing or got cured of this.
This could be a sign of peripheral neuropathy, which has many causes. Some common ones are Vit B12 and folate deficiency, so these can be tested on blood and supplemented if low. Low thyroid, connective ntissue disorders, diabetes, alcohol (excessive) use can also cause it. There are tests to determine if that is what it is, and most of these are treatable. I would want to see my Dr. as PN is progressive and the sooner you get it treated, the better the outcome.
Thank you ladybud. I take B6, B12, CoQ10 vits everyday. I consume a single beer a week (if at all). Recent blood works by my Endocrinologist (3 weeks ago) showed all normal (calcium, thyroid T-3, T-4, cholestrol, A1c, glucose, triglyceride, etc). Never heard of connective tissue disorders. Doc's visit is in order.
