Swollen Feet

How can you get the swelling in your feet to go down. Could it be from the heat. It has been awfully hot and it started after I had my back surgery.

Re: Swollen Feet

Well, it's tough to say how long it will last.

You can try compression stockings, a reduced-salt diet, and also try elevating your legs whenever you sit down or at night. Standing in one place for long periods of time often contributes to swollen feet.

Re: Swollen Feet

Thanks. Am trying all those things except when I lay down to get my feet up enough, I fall asleep and they fall over
