I want an morning appt for my surgery but I won't know until the day before. Yeah thought the no drinking or eating rule seems to be the same.

Re: pre-op instructions?

I was so thankful for a morning surgery time. I left for the hospital at 5:30 and I certainly wasn't hungry then! Also I feel like the later in the day your surgery is the more likely they will be running late so you'll be waiting that much longer!

Re: pre-op instructions?

My afternoon surgery was pushed up. I was suppose to have surgery at like 330pm but they called me at 930am and were like "we need you to come here now, we can get you in at 130 or sooner"..well I wasn't ready for that and my dad was in the shower needless to say I didn't get there till 10:45 and had surgery around 130

I'm still hoping for a morning one this time.
