I went to Google and typed "NSAIDS bone healing" and found several links. Lots of controversy on the subject. I was taking Lodine, but I think I'll wait and ask my doctor about it when I see him on Monday

My orthopedic said it was pretty definite. NSAID medications definitely impair bone healing (they just don't know how much). He forbid any kind of NSAID medication for the first 2 months after my surgery which included a bone graft and screws. I figure better safe than sorry. There are plenty of options out there for a few months.
