except when I got back, not only my foot but my entire lower leg was incredibly swollen (but recovered overnight) so probably will not be wearing heels again any time soon (unless an occasion arises again)
yay for getting into a "normal" shoe again, although only for a little while! |
Sweetficus- My heels were about 2 inches and I know what you are talking about with the swelling! It happened to me too! And, my feet have both been pretty sore today, but not unbearable! I also had a few drinks and I think that helped me make it through! I did alot of standing also so i am sure that is why I am a little sore today.....maybe I should have waited and had the drinks today!!!!

It sure felt good to at least look like normal, even though I don't feel like I am!!! Yah for both of us for wearing heels! i am not sure if we are brave or crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carlos95-Thanks for your reply! I hope you are getting along ok! It takes a while, but I am sure we will be glad we did it and even more glad it is behind us! As far as healing quickly, my best advice is to really take it easy for the first 3 to 4 weeks. Don't move anymore than necessary and always keep your foot elevated! I still keep mine up anytime I am sitting down, and I really think that helps! Good Luck!
