I also wonder why do some doctors choose an air boot over the smaller casts? Any opinions are always welcome. |
What kind of surgery did you have Ann? I had a Lisfranc repair and was also given an airboot at 6 weeks. I still have alot of swelling and achiness. I walk as little as possible. But I am back in martial arts doing strictly groundwork. (Blocks, punches, kicks from a side lying position, and of course sit ups and pushups on my knees.

) I'm actually testing for my yellow belt on Saturday...all from the ground, although I will be walking slowly through 2 forms in the boot.
