why are my feet smelly? - Foot Problems Message Board

hi there,

i'm here becos i'm would like to seek advice informally. i will describe the best i can.

both my feet smells. it gets worse when i go to work wearing covered working shoes. ladies, u know wat sort of shoes i mean.

if i take my shoes off in the office awhile, i can smell it; not sure about my nearest colleagues. mebbie they do but i've not anyone tell me publicly nor privately yet.

my parents have said tat when i take off shoes the first time i'm home from work each day, my feet stinks. they say i should go get those foot powders, keep my feet dry & clean.

i'm also thinking: anything to do with Psorasis (sorry if i spell it wrongly), whereby the soles of my feet crack & i peel it from time to time?

one way i think i can do about the covered shoes is to wear open-toed shoes. but i don't like open-toed footwear as i think i have ugly horrible feet, not dainty lady feet. u know, like the movie star.

phew!! lucky tat is all for now. i hope i've not bored u guys out.

Try a tea soak. You can use some bleach in water to soak feet also.
I've read that some of the foods we eat can cause foot odor, or even a foot fungus.

hi there,

wow, i never could tell the history of those "smelly feet". another sin i must confess: i wear the same, YES, "SAME PAIR", of shoes to work everyday.

Guess it's another excuse for me to go shopping, ladies.

however, i will try out the suggestions in the article over this coming weekend.

I used to have problems with sweaty, smelly feet and I started using dr scholls foot powder. Didn't sweat so bad and the offensive smell went away.

Hehehee, guess tat i should include buying that foot powder also this weekend. this may be a "small issue" but one, which no doubt some will agree, get on our nerves the same. Thanks for ur suggestions.

how i wish i didn't have all this irritants; smelly feet, peeling skin on my feet, dark-coloured little toenail, perfect skin & hair, ... in short i wonder who i dream of: snow white, cinderella or barbie doll?

just rattling off, dun worry.
