Having the pin removed is nothing compared to what you have experienced so far. The Dr. will rotate the pin and pull, it goes by just like that. I had two pins removed from my big toe. I felt the doctor grab my toe and the next thing I knew it was done - no pain. It actually felt better having them out. I did not watch the Dr. do this. I grabbed the arms of the chair I was in and turned my head away. You can do this and it will not be bad, I had no shots and no pain meds. Trust me, it looks worse than it really is.
