finally released - Foot Problems Message Board

Hi All!
I have been released from my doctor! I had a fusion of my big toe with a bone graft from my hip last Feb. The recovery process was long but I feel so much better. It amazes me that I can go through a day and realize at the end of the day that I forgot about my foot. What a change from a few months ago.
I hope that everyone continues to make good progress in their own recoveries.

What great news for you...and all of us. I appreciate all you've shared on this board about your progress. I look forward to the day I forget about my foot! What a radical thought. I am 6 weeks post op for the toe fusion and look forward to learning to walk again next week.
I wish you continued health and even some dancing...
