I think I have heard about them going away on their own, but it takes a long time. I've had one that I have been working on getting rid of for 6 years now. Much better to actually treat it, either at home or at the doctor's. You have to be very persistent, though, because they keep coming back if you don't get it all. I keep getting it to shrink, then I slack off and it comes back. Hope you have better luck with yours than me!
