| Possible lateral process talar fracture
Hi Everyone-I posted earlier about having surgery on my flexor hallucis longus. I finally saw the surgeon yesterday, on the 23rd. He agrees with the sports med doc about releasing the FHL tendon, but he then ordered a CT scan to rule out a lateral process talar fracture. I am kinda confused. My ankle pain is all medial; posterior medial and anterior medial. I only have pain laterally when he palpates that area where the process it. Does anyone have any idea as to why this could have an affect on my flexor hallucis longus or even thoughts about a fracture. I personally don't feel like there is a fracture especially because I have been walking out of the boot for a good 3 months. Anything thought would be awesome. Thanks,
