| Steindler plantar fascial stripping
I am a patient in the Veterans health Care System and my doctor has recommended the above surgery for both feet.
I would like to hear from someone who has undergone this procedure since it requires surgery for one foot and being on crutches for six weeks and then operating on the other foot with the same down time.
It seems that there are many problems associated with this type of surgery and I would like to hear from someone who has gone through this. My impression is... it's a long and hard time for complete recovery.
Any information and help would be sincerely appreciated.
