well my bf is complaining about his heels burning, well actually i think he pointed to the back of the foot, between his heel and ankle. he says it comes and goes; when hes siting, standing, laying down, whenever. he doesnt know y its happening, and starting to worry. he says it been like this for 2 weeks or so. i asked him, if he got hurt, thinking its affecting his feet, but he said no. does anyone have an idea to what this could be?
uhoh.. tell him to see an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis.. a lot of times arthritis changes in the ankle and heel can feel like burning when it starts.. i had a similar situation.. healthy for years (now 33) then my joint between heel and ankle started buring,which lead to pain.. turned out to be a latent genetic abnormality requiring surgery.. an MRI or CT scan can diagnose the problem.
wow, i wasnt expecting such a big thing. if he doesnt take care of it, what can happen?? i think hes gonna have a physical soon, so im pretty sure hes going to ask his doctor. so we'll see.
until it casuses sever enough pain you dont have to do anythihg,but usually with in a year or two the oain becomes severe ans it is hard to wqalk, so the patient ends up getting a subtalar fusion,, which fuses together two bones, and it lilimits your ability to play sports somewhat.. no more running basically.. The revcovery is HELL jus tto let you know.. 5 months stuck at home essentially... but wrth it tio walk pai nfree afterwards!!!!!
