There is no cure for nail fungus at this time. Doctors don't know how people get it, but guess that it is spread from person to person and also can spread from toe to toe. keeping nails trimmed short is only real treatment, not cure. I know you've seen the commercials on t.v. for the fungus treatment medicine but doctors don't usually prescribe it because it does damage to liver.Especially in older people. Even the younger people who do get this med. and clears up fungus as soon as you quite taking meds it will come back again. Its been around forever and probably won't go away soon.
