| Re: Climbing Stairs after foot surgery
We have 8 steps to get outside, and I was going to the doctor once a week while non weight-bearing. Luckily, my fiance helped me out, basically by being my crutch on one side, and I used the railing on the other, and I was able to hop.
Actual stair climbing was when I was able to put weight on the foot. That changes everything. Whenever that is, you'll be able to handle stairs, but not putting one foot in front of the other - I don't even have to tell you that, it'll be totally instinctual. You put the good foot up, followed by the healing one - then you put the healing one down, followed by the bad one.
