Well, at least you have gotten x-rays and he is treating you for the tendonitis. I have been on anti-inflamatories before and I have acid refluxe and had no problems. The bone spur on the back of the heal have been known to be troublesome, especially if the achilles tendon lies over it. To have those bone spurs removed is a difficult process because of the achilles tendon and has a long recovery. Give it the four weeks he has called for and see how it goes. If it is not getitng better then ask lots of questions and ask about an MRI.
