Athlete's Foot! ARGH THIS ITCH!! - Foot Problems Message Board

A few days ago, I noticed I had some inflammation on my feet and some red bumps. I went to the doctor two days ago and was diagnosed with athlete's foot. I've started treatment but lately the itching has gotten unbearable. Is there anything that can help? It's driving me crazy!

I feel your pain man. I get athlete's foot a lot. Something that relieves the itching for me is to run my feet under cool water. I know scratching that itch feels good but it also helps it to spread.

Is there anything else? The cool water helped but not for long after I took my feet out of it. It's like a thousand fire ants stung my feet.
