orthopedic surgeon recommendation? - Foot Problems Message Board

can anyone recommend an orthopedic surgeon or other foot specialist in the NYC area? I am in dire need of a good doctor. Thanks!

All depends on what your problem is. But the best way to find one in NYC is to call the Jets, Nets and Giants front offices and find out who their foot doctors are. Particularly if whatever your problem is it is found frequently in athletes....like a neuroma, hallux limitus/rigidus, plantar faciitis, etc.

I had a great Ortho guy. He only does from the ankle down and he is the doctor that all the people I know who had messed up surgery, went to to fix. He has a great reputation.
His name is Dr. Feder and he is in Cedarhurst, Long Island. My regular doctor highly recommended him also. I am 7 weeks post op and am doing great.
