Hi to all,

I had a talonavicular fusion in nov 05 which has worked very well,apart form the fact that i now have pain and swelling in same foot ankle bone which is bothering i can move my ankle and is swollen can feel it aches all the time i have an ortho appt for the 8th i cannot get too cus its at 9am so will have to phone and rearrange it.

Iam on Diclofenac but its not working very well and dont want to use tramadol constantly as both make me constipated. Anything else to take take pain away.

I don't know what to tell you about pain medications but, I think that ankle deterioration is a side effect of having that joint fused. What did they say about the ankle joint?
