| Re: Morton's Neuroma Surgery
I had my neuroma removed 5 years ago. The only problem with the numbness now is that I can't wear low cut shoes without backs on that foot as I can't grip as well to hold them on. I don't notice the numbness at all any more. And in the beginning it was just ever so lightly annoying. Sort of like when your arm "goes to sleep", so to speak.
Just be sure to find a really good, experienced doc and that he/she cuts from the top of the foot so you can walk from the beginning. I don't know where John's Creek is but my normal advise is to call the nearest pro football or basketball team or major college athletic department and find out who they use. Beisdes being common in women who wear heels, this is also a common injury for runners. Good luck!
