I appear to have a problem with the back of my heels on both feet. There seems to just be one certain point on each heel which when pressure is applied from shoe wearing, sends an immense pain into the back of my heel.
It is very painful and stops me in my tracks.
There are no obvious lumps, bumps or marks on my heels and if i push with my finger, it doesn't hurt. It's only when wearing normal court shoes or trainers. (anything with a back on)

I haven't visited my GP regarding this yet as i have found myself a pair of boots which apply no pressure to this area, however, summer is approaching, and I would love to put my shoes back on!
This has been happening for around 3 years, on and off. I can wear the shoes for a month with no trouble, then they can send this pain out of the blue! I get no warning, nor do they hurt anytime after my shoes are off.

Has anyone heard of this? I've been reading up, however, the area in which my heel hurts doesn't seem to apply to most problems i'm reading about.

I understand poor fitting shoes obviously cause heel pain, however i've been through quite a few pairs now, with the same problem arising at some point.
