| Running after heel fracutre with ORIF?
I am currently recovering from a heel fracture. The injury occurred on Jan 30. The ORIF was on Feb 8. I am just curious if anyone had been a runner and recovered from this to run again. I know that it will be a long time before I can run, and the distances will be shorter for sure. But I am hoping that at least 5k's will be possible?! I am a motivated person and I have a resonable level for pain tolerance. I want to run again. What are some of your stories, good, bad, or indifferent? Thank you in advance for your responses!
